About Our Performers

Footlight Performance Academy

Footlight is a local dance and performance academy based in Dorset, dedicated to developing confidence, creativity, and stage presence in young performers. Their talented students train in a range of styles including jazz, ballet, musical theatre, and commercial dance — and their shows are always full of energy and polish.

You can expect expressive choreography, great music, and a burst of colour as Footlight’s dancers take to the stage at 5:50 PM, setting the tone for the evening ahead. Their routines are a firm local favourite and always a crowd-pleaser.

About Our Performers

BEAT Street Dance

BEAT is a street-dance company known for dynamic routines and a huge sense of fun. Their performers bring raw energy and precise choreography together in a way that gets the whole crowd moving. BEAT’s passion for dance and community is at the heart of everything they do.

They’ll perform twice on the night — at 6:30 PM and again at 7:05 PM — blending hip-hop, commercial, and freestyle moves to keep the atmosphere electric. Expect big beats, sharp moves, and plenty of crowd energy.

About Our Performers

Chris Welford – Fire Performer

Chris Welford is a professional juggler and fire performer who combines precision, artistry, and showmanship in every routine. His act mixes flames, rhythm, and a touch of theatre to create a mesmerising display of skill and light.

His fire show will run from 6:40 PM to 7:05 PM, perfectly bridging the gap between the live performances and the grand fireworks display. Expect sparks, spinning torches, and plenty of “wow” moments as Chris lights up the night sky.

Best seats in the house!

VIP Viewing Area

The first 500 tickets sold include access to our VIP Viewing Area — the best seats in the house for the fireworks display. This dedicated space sits right at the heart of the main field, offering an unbeatable view of the show as it lights up the Broadstone sky.

You’ll have extra room to relax, a clearer line of sight to the display, and that special feeling of being right in the middle of the action. The VIP area opens with the gates at 5:00 PM, so arrive early, grab your spot, and settle in for an unforgettable evening.

Please note: VIP access is included automatically with the first 500 ticket purchases — there’s no separate booking required.

Family fun at its finest

Rides & Attractions

It’s not just fireworks lighting up Broadstone — there’s plenty of fun on the ground too! Kids (and a few grown-ups) can enjoy our mix of classic fairground rides and inflatables throughout the evening.

The bungee trampoline and merry-go-round are a firm favourite and we are glad to welcome them back again. New for this year are bouncy castles! They’re set up in the same area as last year’s scare maze, giving younger visitors a lively new space to bounce, spin, and laugh the night away.

Whether it’s your child’s first carousel ride or another go on the trampoline “just one more time,” these attractions bring the festival feel to Fireworks Night.

Light up the night before the big event!

Glow Toys

Light up the night! From glowing wands and flashing headbands to colourful light-up souvenirs, our Glow Toy Stalls bring a little extra sparkle to Fireworks Night.

You’ll find them dotted around the site, including near the main arena and entrance — perfect for kids (and plenty of adults) who want to shine a little brighter when the fireworks begin.

Every purchase helps support the PTA of Broadstone Middle School, funding projects and experiences for local students. So go on — grab something that glows, and light up Broadstone in style.
