Frequently Asked Questions

How can I be a volunteer?

If you can help us by delivering leaflets, coordinating the car park, or set up and close down on the day/evening we'd love to hear from you.

Get in touch with us via email to volunteers@broadstonefireworks.co.uk and one of the team will come back to you with how you can help.

What are the safety rules at the event?

For everyone’s safety, no sparklers, personal fireworks, or lanterns may be brought onto the site. We also ask that you avoid bringing glass bottles or containers. Our team of stewards will be on hand throughout the evening — please follow their instructions so that everyone can enjoy the night safely.

Children must be supervised at all times, and we encourage families to keep a close eye on little ones, especially near busy areas and barriers.

If you notice anything unsafe or someone who needs assistance, please alert the nearest steward immediately.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Broadstone Fireworks is a fully outdoor event and goes ahead rain or shine. We encourage visitors to come prepared for the British weather - so wrap up warm and pack a raincoat if needed! In the unlikely event of extreme weather causing safety concerns, updates will be posted on our Facebook page and website as early as possible.

Is there parking available?

Limited parking is available for disabled visitors in the main school car park. Please do not attempt to park here unless you have a blue badge which will be validated by a member of our team on arrival

Do I need to bring cash or is card accepted?

Many of our food vendors and some stallholders do accept card payments, but others may be cash-only – especially for things like games and rides. To be on the safe side, we recommend bringing some cash with you (though we will have our cash point on site same as last year)

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not permitted at this event
